12:00 3m½f (3m90y) (Inner) Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase (4yo+)

Speculateur created a favourable impression by opening his account over hurdles on his sixth attempt, justifying long odds-on favouritism in a maiden hurdle at Sligo. While it might not have been the strongest maiden hurdle, Speculateur was impressive and looked a chaser in the making. On the back of a short break following that victory, Speculateur is taken to make it a winning chasing debut for trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Jack Kennedy.

Selection: Speculateur

12:35 3m½f (3m90y) (Inner) Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase (4yo+)

Ceroc arrives here on the back of two decent efforts (both over fences), the most recent of which was in a handicap chase over 2m 5f over fences at Clonmel last month, where he finished second behind King’s Jet. He was pulled up on his last start over hurdles, which was at Listowel in May, but a chance is taken that he can exploit his 7lb lower mark over hurdles.

Selection: Ceroc

13:10 2m (Inner) Winter Festival 28th & 29th November 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle (3yo)

Sir Benji is expected to open his account over hurdles for the first time, with trainer Gavin Cromwell and jockey Keith Donoghue. The son of Sottsass has a flat rating of 85. He won his maiden on debut at Navan over 1m 2f at the end of March. He’s had three runs since then on the flat, and was last seen finishing down the field in a competitive handicap won by Madbadanddangerous at the Galway Festival during the summer.

Sir Benji is sure to be well schooled; hopefully he can avoid any wayward leaps from rivals in the early stages, get into a good rhythm and play a leading role in the finish.

Selection: Sir Benji

13:45 2m (Inner) Sign Up To GavinLynchRacing.com Maiden Hurdle (4yo+)

Bon Bon Fizz was last seen finishing second behind Adaboy Mushy in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival on stable debut. He won a bumper at Thurles last March, when trained by Paul O’Flynn, and is taken to get off the mark on hurdles debut for the trainer-jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy.

Selection: Bon Bon Fizz

14:20 2m4f (Inner) Group Discounts For Winter Festival General Admission Rated Hurdle (4yo+)

Speisialta made all to win a handicap hurdle over the extended 2m 1f trip at Sligo, when last seen, in the hands of jockey Eoin Staples. She can be highly strung, wears a hood and trainer Anthony Black’s son travelled from Wexford to Sligo and back – in the back of the horse box with Speisialta, to keep her calm 11 days ago.

Although highly strung, Speisialta is tough and has ability. She will need to improve, but I’ll be hoping her energy is channelled towards beating her rivals once again.

Selection: Speisialta

14:55 2m4f (Inner) Handicap Hurdle (Div I) (3yo+ 0-100)

Jolly Potter took a step forward on previous efforts when finishing fourth of sixteen in a novice handicap hurdle over the extended 2m 3f trip at Clonmel last time out. He is taken to build on that run and should go close for trainer James Fahey and jockey Alan O’Sullivan.

Selection: Jolly Potter

15:30 2m4f (Inner) Handicap Hurdle (Div II) (3yo+ 0-100)

Although still a maiden after ten starts over hurdles, Tudorista has posted a number of decent efforts to suggest that she should be up to taking this. She was only beaten a neck by At The Wings over 2m 4f at Gowran Park on good ground in early October, and was last seen finishing third behind Loi Des Jeux over an extended 2m 5f trip at Limerick last time out.

Selection: Tudorista

16:04 3m (2m7f185y) (Inner) Christmas Parties At Fairyhouse December 12th Handicap Hurdle (4yo+)

Mickey Cohen was only beaten a half-length by Smackwater Jack over course and distance on good ground at the beginning of October. He failed to land a blow on soft ground at Sligo last time out. A chance is taken that a return to 3m here on good ground will see Mickey Cohen shed his maiden tag over hurdles at the fourteenth attempt.

Selection: Mickey Cohen
