Quarter-Final Match Betting and Predictions:

Thursday May 02nd

(Prices correct as of 3pm on April 29th)

(7:15pm) 11/5 Peter Wright v Michael Smith 7/20 (PredictionMichael Smith, Peter Wright lost his opening quarter-final 6-3 to MVG in Liverpool last week. He then went to the Austrian Darts Open where he beat Danny Lauby Jr in his opening match, before once again bumping into MVG in his second match and losing on a 6-4 scoreline.

Michael Smith lost his opening quarter-final 6-4 to Rob Cross in Liverpool, he then choose a holiday break in Las Vegas along with Nathan Aspinall over last weekend’s Austrian Darts Open on the European Tour. Back from his short break, I’m going for a Michael Smith win in this match.) Correct Score Prediction – 3-6

(8pm) 2/5 Luke Littler v Nathan Aspinall 2/1 (PredictionLuke Littler, Luke Littler gained his third nightly win in Liverpool last Thursday, with wins over Price, Aspinall and Cross seeing go back on top of the Premier League table, he also travelled to Austria where he won the Austrian Darts Open and got the coveted famous Green Jacket for his victory.

Nathan Aspinall beat World No.1 Luke Humphries 6-2 in his opening quarter-final in Liverpool last week, before losing narrowly 6-5 (led 5-2) to eventual winner Luke Littler and then choose not to take part in last weekend’s Austrian Darts Open, instead going on a short break to Las Vegas with Michael Smith. It’s hard to see anything other than a Luke Littler win on current form in this one.) Correct Score Prediction – 6-3

(8:45pm) 11/20 Michael van Gerwen v Rob Cross 6/4 (PredictionRob Cross, Rob Cross enjoyed wins over Michael Smith and Michael van Gerwen in Liverpool, before losing out in the final to Luke Littler. He then headed to the Austrian Darts Open where he lost out to Daryl Gurney 6-4 in the second round.

Michael van Gerwen has been in poor form lately by his high standards, he won his opening match 6-3 over Peter Wright in Liverpool before losing comprehensively 6-2 to tonight’s opponent Rob Cross in the semi-finals and then MVG went to Austria to beat Jeffrey de Zwaan 6-1 and Peter Wright 6-4 before losing in the quarter-final 6-1 to Ross Smith. In a difficult game to call, I’m going for a narrow win for Rob Cross in this game.) Correct Score Prediction – 4-6

(9:30pm) 11/8 Gerwyn Price v Luke Humphries 6/10 (PredictionLuke Humphries,

This would normally be a tough one to call, however after losing his opening match in Liverpool to eventual winner Luke Littler (6-3), Gerwyn Price then withdrew from the Austrian Darts Masters over the weekend due to a trapped nerve in his back.

Luke Humphries who also lost his opening match in Liverpool to Nathan Aspinall (6-2) also missed the action in Austria as he was complaining of fatigue and choose not to travel. Taking all of this into account, I’m going for a Humphries win over a possible under the weather Gerwyn Price.) Correct Score Prediction – 2-6

Week 14 Nightly Winner (Aberdeen) Prediction: Luke Littler @ 12/5

Tournament Outright Betting:

Luke Littler 7/4 – Luke Humphries 2/1 – Michael van Gerwen 4/1 – Nathan Aspinall 5/1 – Michael Smith 14/1 – Gerwyn Price 1000 – Rob Cross 1000/1 Peter Wright N/A
