13:55 5f Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (2yo)
Freya Frain will take ten pounds off the back of ANTHONY OF LISBON and while this colt has been off the track for 109 days this looks like a good season starting point for its second start. He was beaten sixteen lengths in a maiden won by Folsom Blues and that form has worked out with the winner becoming a Group One winner at the Curragh when it landed the Vincent O’Brien National Stakes.
Anthony of Lisbon was off the bridle a long way from home last time and if he comes on for that debut then he looks an interesting runner for the Ballydoyle team.

14:25 5f Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (2yo)
Jack Davison has had his team in good form this season and HOWLIN WOLF has been consistent in nursery company of late. A winner at the Curragh back in August and has since finished second on his last two runs at Navan. The blinkers will be applied for the first time and that could spark a little more life into him. The form from the run at Navan last time has worked out with the fifth Shesthedevil coming out and winning at Fairyhouse since.

14:55 6f Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap (3yo+)
Johnny Murtagh and Ben Coen teamed up with Curracloe to win in the Qatar Racing colours on Sunday at the Curragh. FLASH OF FIRE will have its second start for the team since leaving the yard of James Ferguson and was an eye-catching fourth last time. The cheekpieces will be applied for the first time and that could help her. She was in fifth inside final furlong at Punchestown but kept on without threatening in the closing stages. That was her first run since the 13th of June and is entitled to come on for it.

15:25 6f WTW Willis Handicap (3yo+ 0-60)
Ben Coen could be in line for a quick double on the card with SIMMERING SEAS trained by Daniel Murphy. This filly has finished second in two of her last four starts and the handicap mark has only increased by four pounds. She wasn’t beaten far at Navan last time and the stiff finish may not have played to her strengths. Her opening run for this stable came at Cork where she finished second off a mark of 54 and a repeat of that should put her in the equation here.

15:55 1m2½f (1m2f90y) Irish Stallion Farms EBF Navigation Stakes (Listed Race) (3yo)
Colin Keane won this race last year for Dermot Weld in the Juddmonte silks aboard Purview and he could have a strong chance of winning it again with the Noel Meade trained CAUGHT U SLEEPING. This filly will have her dancing hooves on in the parade ring as she has her own way of doing things pre-race. She was third to Tattycoram in the Lancashire Oaks at Newmarket and a recent fourth at Gowran Park in the Denny Cordell Lanwades Stud (F) Stakes (Group 3) would make her a major player here.
She stays further than the 10f and a strong pace would see her in a decent light.

16:25 Irish EBF Fillies Maiden (Smullen Series) of €25,000.00
Ger Lyons and Colin Keane team up in the Newtown Anner Stud farm colours with GODS LOVE and on pedigree alone she looks very interesting. She is a sister to 1m 4f winner and 2m 3f winner King’s Reign (Charlie Appleby, Gary & Josh Moore), half-sister to Silver Knott (Charlie Appleby) and Divine Legacy (Ed Bethell & Julie Camacho). She is likely to improve for the experience, but the market will tell us plenty ahead of her debut.

The penultimate on the card is a competitive affair, and it could give KARRYGRANT the chance to finally get off the mark at the tenth time of asking. He has seven places on his form sheet from nine starts and the tongue tie will be applied on handicap debut. He was a shade unlucky last time to be headed close home by Camino Lad at Bellewstown and a repeat of that run would see him in contention here.

17:25 1m Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel Handicap (3yo+ 0-60)
Billy Lee teaming up with the Michael Mulvany trained CAUSE I LIKE YOU looks very interesting here. This filly has been in top form of late and finished second to Chipsrdown last time out. A rise of one pound in the weights doesn’t look too severe and if she can show that form once again then she will be tough to keep out of the frame. Billy has been in top form himself as he looks to maintain his lead in the jockeys title.
