The annual Boxing Day meeting at Down Royal Racecourse is a standout date for racing fans, attracting large crowds and delivering a high-quality programme of action year after year. The new sponsorship further strengthens BAR 1 Betting’s long-standing commitment to Irish horse racing, both north and south of the border.

Formerly known as Bar One Racing, BAR 1 Betting recently unveiled a major rebrand, signalling the beginning of a bold new era for one of Ireland’s best-known independent bookmakers. Gates for the BAR 1 Betting Boxing Day Races will open at 10.30am, with the first race scheduled for 11.40am.
