13:02 6f Irish EBF Median Sires Series Maiden (2yo)
Champion Basma took a step forward from his racecourse debut to outrun his odds of 80/1, when finishing second in a maiden over 6f at The Curragh when last seen.
Breaking sharp and sitting prominent on the outside, Champion Basma showed a great attitude when coming under pressure. Having looked likely to get swallowed up inside the 2f marker, Champion Basma battled on gamely to hit the line strongly and finish second.
The son of Sioux Nation has every chance of going one place better here.
Selection: Champion Basma
13:37 6f DNG Nationwide Handicap (3yo+)
Chicago Pope should find life a little easier here than he did running in a competitive handicap won by Coul Angel when last seen. Stumbling on leaving an unfavourable low draw on that occasion, Chicago Pope ran well for a long way and held every chance approaching the final furlong before tiring close home.
Drawn in stall 12, I fancy Chicago Pope to bounce back to form under a positive ride from jockey Ben Coen.
Selection: Chicago Pope
14:12 1m Irish EBF Median Sires Series Maiden (Smullen Series) (2yo)
Lunar Empress broke smartly from an outside stall to try and make all over 7f at Galway last time out. When asked to quicken inside the final 3f, she had the opposition hard at work in behind.
Despite being headed by the winner Mary Doll 1f out, Mary Doll battled on bravely to the line to go down by a neck. The step to 1 mile should suit, and Lunar Empress is one of my stronger fancies of the afternoon.
Selection: Lunar Empress

14:47 1m1f DNG Excellence Handicap (3yo+)
The consistent Nibras Rainbow, nicely drawn in stall 6, can go close once again for the trainer-jockey combination of Paul Flynn and Leigh Roche.
Paul Flynn has his team in good form, and Nibras Rainbow, who finished second behind Jasmine Affanalis at Killarney last time out, can give punters another good run for their money in an open-looking handicap.
Selection: Nibras Rainbow
15:22 1m4f DNG People & Property Maiden (3yo+)
Coexist left a disappointing debut at Dundalk behind, with a fast-finishing third-placed effort over 1m4f at Fairyhouse last time out. He still showed signs of inexperience, racing on and off the bridle in the early stages before coming home strongly to take third place.
He looks a big individual and still a work in progress but should strip sharper here.
Selection: Coexist

15:57 1m6f Isuzu Ireland Handicap (3yo+)
Priorstown stayed on well from an outside draw to win a 3yo handicap at Roscommon in August.
It was another brave effort from a wide draw to finish second at Listowel last time out. Partnered by jockey Seamie Heffernan at Listowel, Priorstown was rushed up to try and gain a prominent position in the early stages but was forced eight horses wide at the first bend and struggled to get into a comfortable rhythm throughout.
With a kinder draw in stall 12 here, Priorstown can have a big say under jockey Ben Coen.
Selection: Priorstown
16:32 5f October Racing With 1xBet.ie Apprentice Handicap (3yo+)
Coincidental Glory returned to form with a decent second-placed effort over 6f at Navan last Wednesday. Having raced a little keenly in the early stages, the drop to 5f here should suit, and trainer Ado McGuinness has booked the services of talented apprentice Reese Holohan.
Selection: Coincidental Glory
17:07 7f Feel The Rush With 1xBet.ie Handicap (3yo+)
She’s On The Ball arrives here in good form on the back of two decent efforts that have seen the Laura Hourigan-trained filly gain her first success at Cork in September and finish a game second behind Platino Bianco at Listowel last time out.
Wayne Lordan once again takes the ride on She’s On The Ball, who has a handy weight of 8st 7lbs.
Selection: She’s On The Ball
