12.55 5f (5f3y) Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap (Class 2) (3yo+ 0-105)

The ground will be the big question mark for several runners here, and KING OF LIGHT was a winner two starts back on heavy ground at Haydock. He finished ninth behind Air Force One at Ascot in listed company when last seen, and with the ground in his favour, he looks like one of the main contenders here. His form is solid, and he finished behind the same runner, Air Force One, in the Portland at Doncaster, suggesting that he also has course form.

Selection: King Of Light

13:10 2m4f (2m4f44y) (Old Course) Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase (GBB Race) (Class 3) (4yo+)

Henry De Bromhead and Darragh O’Keeffe team up with ROCKONLIAM, who is looking to land four wins on the bounce with victory here. He won a handicap hurdle at Listowel and then a pair of chase victories both at Wexford. He travelled very strongly last time and won off a mark of 118, suggesting that there could be more to come. While the drop back in trip may not fully suit, the ground should bring stamina into the equation and should go close with luck in running.

Selection: Rockonliam

13:30 1m (Straight) Futurity Trophy Stakes (Group 1) (No Geldings) (Class 1) (2yo)

A race that will go a long way to deciding the Trainer’s Title for this year, and Aidan O’Brien will be looking to make it winner number thirteen in this prestigious race. He is represented by NOBLE EXHIBIT, Giant Sequoia and Sergei Diaghilev. Noble Exhibit has stepped up from his opening run at the Curragh, where he was third to Monogram, and the form of that race has worked out well. He was a seven-length winner on his second start and then a Group 2 winner in the Beresford at the Curragh last time out. He has had around a month to get over his last run and, with normal improvement, he should be tough to beat.

Selection: Noble Exhibit

13:45 3m (2m7f208y) (Old Course) Novices’ Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 2) (4yo+)

Sir Alex Ferguson, who part owns ROAD TO WEMBLEY, will be looking for a bit of a tonic following Manchester United’s poor run of form of late. This runner is a three-time winner in his last four starts and arrives here off a run of twenty-nine days ago. He won off a mark of 124 and is now off a pound lower down to 123, and if he can come back to something like the winning form he produced at Aintree and Worcester, then he should be going close.

Selection: Road To Wembley

14:05 6f (6f2y) Sue Wright Prospect Stakes (Registered As Doncaster Stakes) (Listed Race) (Class 1) (2yo)

Paddy Twomey and Billy Lee have had an excellent season, and HI CORBETT COURT looks capable of stepping up from his second in the Goffs Million last time out. He got gunned down in the dying strides by his stablemate Trean but outran his odds of 80/1. He was a nursery winner at Sligo prior to that, but if he can take another step forward then he should be involved in the finish.

Selection: Hi Corbett Court

14:20 3m (2m7f208y) (Old Course) Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (Pertemps Hurdle Series Qualifier) (GBB Race) (Class 2) (4yo+)

Jonjo & AJ O’Neill have had four winners in the last two weeks, suggesting that their team is coming into a bit of form. SEANIECON will be their representative here, and this runner was last seen behind Blue Mosque at the Punchestown Festival. He finished fifth in a Grade 1 at Aintree behind Zeus Power and could be nicely handicapped here off a mark of 127. He was a P2P winner at Ballingarry by thirteen lengths, and a maiden hurdle winner by twenty-eight lengths at Hereford to show the ability is there.

Selection: Seaniecon

14:55 3m1f (Old Course Handicap Chase (GBB Race) (Class 2) (4yo+)

A tricky puzzle here, but it may pay to follow the in-form Skelton team, who have HERE COMES GEORGIE making a first start for them. This gelding was formerly trained by Dylan Cunha and Patrick Neville and is a six-time winner from twenty-three starts. He was beaten a long way in the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter in November 2025 but was third at Carlisle on his penultimate run. The handicap mark is falling, and he will run here off 123, first run since a wind op and hood-and-tongue tie applied.

Selection: Here Comes Georgie

15:30 2m½f (2m87y) (Old Course) Masterson Holdings Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 2) (4yo)

Paul O’Brien and Harry Derham team up with ONE HORSE TOWN, who was an eyecatcher on a flat run at Salisbury twenty-three days ago. He had some solid form in the book over hurdles last season, finishing second to Maestro Conti in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in January before finishing midfield in the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. He will have to give weight away to rivals off top weight and a mark of 129, but he is a classy sort, and connections could have big aspirations for him this winter.

Selection: One Horse Town
