12:17 1m Irish EBF Maiden (Smullen Series) (2yo)

Choctaw Nation shaped with promise on debut when chasing home Jesus Green in a maiden at Navan at the beginning of October, over 1 mile. He pulled 5 lengths clear of the third. The son of Sea The Stars is taken to get off the mark under jockey Paddy Harnett.

Selection: Choctaw Nation

12:52 5f Mongey Communications Sprint Handicap (3yo+)

Gerrit’s Gem arrives here on the back of two decent second-placed efforts, the first of which was at Naas behind Stag Night, and the most recent was a gallant effort behind Irish Rumour at Navan on October 21st. A chance is taken that he can go one better here in the hands of Reese Holohan, with a handy weight of 8st 8lb.

Selection: Gerrit’s Gem

13:27 7f Ryans Cleaning Race (3yo+)

Formerly trained by Jack Channon, Excellent Believe has made a good start to life with trainer Stephen Thorne. Despite not getting his head in front from three starts, he shaped with promise on each occasion, including in the Balmoral Handicap at Ascot last time out. Excellent Believe had an unfavourable draw and raced on the far side as the race developed closer to the stands-side rail, and he was beaten a little over 4 lengths by the winner, Fifth Column. Another good run is on the cards here.

Selection: Excellent Believe

14:02 7f Isuzu Ireland Handicap (3yo+)

San Aer has 6 lengths to find with Lady Mary Heath following their meeting at Punchestown on Thursday; however, Ross O’Sullivan’s charge didn’t enjoy the clearest of runs up the home straight, and a chance is taken that with a trouble-free passage, he can go well at a price.

Selection: San Aer

14:37 2m½f (2m71y) Loughbrown Stakes (Group 3) (3yo+)

Amelia Earhart has posted a number of decent efforts at Group 1 level and should take a successful drop to Group 3 company here. She was last seen finishing fourth behind Queenstown, only beaten a little over 5 lengths, in the Group 1 Prix Royal-Oak at Saint-Cloud last time out.

Selection: Amelia Earhart

15:12 1m Keadeen Hotel Premier Handicap (3yo+)

Diego El Queso arrives here on the back of a decent second-placed effort behind Come What May in the Listed Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown last time out. That was over 1m 2f, but Diego El Queso is equally effective over the 1 mile trip and should give another good account here,

Selection: Diego El Queso

15:47 1m4f Velo Coffee At The Curragh Maiden (3yo+)

Joe Cool took a step on previous form when finishing second behind Ballybawn Belter over 1m 3f on soft ground at Killarney last time out. He can take a little time to get going, but I think The Curragh will suit, and any further rain will be appreciated.

Selection: Joe Cool

16:20 1m4f Finale Stakes (Listed Race) (3yo+)

Thread Of Gold ran out a comfortable winner of a competitive handicap over 1m 4f at the Galway Festival during the summer. He was last seen finishing fifth, a little over three lengths behind the winner, Arabian Crown, in a Group 3 at Leopardstown during Champions Festival Weekend. I think Thread Of Gold will take the beating and finish off the season in style for champion jockey Billy Lee.
