13:58 2m½f (2m110y) (Inner) Winter Festival Early Bird Tickets On Sale Now Beginners Chase (4yo+)
The famous colours of the Bowe family will be seen here with GLEN KILN, who could be a class apart on chase debut. He was last seen beaten a long way behind Lossiemouth at Punchestown in the Grade 1 Boodles Champion Hurdle. He was a two-time winner last season, first at Punchestown when he finished in front of Busselton and then a very poignant winner of the Naas Business Club Limestone Lad H´dle (Grade 3). He likes to go to the front, and if he adopts the usual front-running tactics here, then he could be tough to catch.
Selection: Glen Kiln
14:33 2m5½f (2m5f55y) (Inner) O’Neills.com Irish EBF Beginners Chase (4yo+)
Henry De Bromhead and Darragh O’Keeffe team up with FORT DINO, who will be having his third start over the larger obstacles here. He was a winner in France when trained by Hugo Merienne at the end of May 2025 and made his Irish debut a long way behind Beauvallon at the Punchestown Festival. He was disappointing last time at Listowel, and if you could put that down as a blip, he looks like one of the main contenders here. He has only had five career starts, and there is room for improvement.
Selection: Fort Dino
15:10 3m½f (3m104y) (Inner) Malone Windows Supporting Louth GAA Handicap Chase (4yo+)
Paul Flynn and Danny Gilligan team up with POURQOI POI, and this horse deserves a change of luck following a pair of seconds on his last two starts. He has only been raised three pounds by the handicapper from 98 to 101 and carries a nice weight here of 10-9. He was a handicap hurdle winner at Punchestown this time last year off a mark of 87, so this could be the right time to catch him. Paul Flynn has his team in solid form, with 2 winners from his last 9 at the time of writing.
Selection: Pourqoi Poi

15:50 2m (Inner) Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle (4yo+)
The Robcour silks will be donned by Darragh O’Keeffe as he gets aboard ASH HOBBS for the Knockeen team once again. This mare hasn’t been seen for 193 days, and this will be her hurdle debut. She is a former P2P winner at Ballycahane when trained by Harley Dunne, and that suggests that he should have a future over obstacles. She may need a little further in time, being a half-sister to winners Champagne Venture (2m4f hurdle) and On Time (3m2f chase). The market will likely be a good guide to see what is expected.
Selection: Ash Hobbs
16:25 2m (Inner) Powerscreen New England Supporting Louth GAA Handicap Hurdle (3yo+)
One of the more competitive races on the card but a chance is taken with the Philip Rothwell-trained and Ross Sugrue-ridden KILT. A recent winner at Listowel in the hands of Ross, the handicapper has nudged it up six pounds in the weights. The form was boosted in the last week when Kilbrin Rocco won a chase at Killarney for the Eoin McCarthy team. Kilt likes to be settled at the back of the field and come through the pack late on, and this could be the plan on Saturday.
Selection: Kilt

17:00 2m (Inner) Protection & Prosperity Financial Services Supporting Louth GAA Handicap Hurdle (3yo+ 0-100)
This looks like another good chance for Darragh O’Keeffe on the card as he gets aboard GRANLAHAN for Adrian McGuinness. Four seconds from his last five starts and surely a change of luck is on the card after a shorthead second to Footstepsofglory at Killarney last time out. The handicap mark has been on the increase and decrease, but he is now in here off a mark of 86, and a repeat of the run last time out should be more than enough here. Darragh has been aboard for four of his last six starts, and they will surely hit the target sooner rather than later.
Selection: Granlahan
17:35 2m (Inner) (Ladies Pro/Am) INH Flat Race (4yo+)
This looks to be a tricky race to end the card at Fairyhouse on Saturday, with solid form few and far between. The booking of Anna McGuinness on GAELIC SEER catches the eye, and this filly ran a cracker on her debut to finish third at Ballinrobe behind Iron Sword. Iron Sword followed up at Listowel in impressive fashion on its next start. Gaelic Seer had been prominent throughout and then got a little outpaced before keeping on in the closing stages. There should be improvement to come, and she could be the one to beat.
Selection: Gaelic Seer
