13:45 6f (5f180y) Navan Racing Festival 14th & 15th November Median Auction Maiden (2yo)
A chance can be taken here with CATUAI who was thrown into the deep end on debut when contesting the Blenheim Stakes at Fairyhouse. He had finished second in a barrier trial at Leopardstown behind Golden Alibi and the form has worked out with the third Value Pending winning at Dundalk on the 18th of September. Value Pending was then stepped up to Group 3 company but finished last of eight behind Curracloe at the Curragh.
The barrier trial run was full of promise, slow away, held up at the back of the field and kept out wide entering the straight and stayed on strongly close home. Following that education, you can see why connections decided to pitch him into the deep end.

14:15 6f (5f180y) Buy Now & Save With The Real Deal Bundle Maiden (3yo+)
While the form may not amount to much now WHAT’S ENOUGH will make a quick reappearance after finishing third behind White Smoke and Osterode at Bellewstown last week. The front two had more experience over this four-year-old but he looked like he was going to finish a moderate fifth but then stayed on in the closing stages. He is drawn in stall one and with the stiff finish sure to suit he could be one to watch closely in the market.
Selection: What’s Enough
14:45 6f (5f180y) Navan Racing Festival Hospitality On Sale Now Nursery Handicap (2yo)
Paul Flynn and Chris Hayes will team up with DOCKS who ran an improved race when second at Naas to Santo Parvenue last time. He was ridden in sixth a furlong down and stayed on strongly without reaching the winner close home. The winner Santo Parvenue would finish third at Down Royal since while the fourth home Invincible Irish would finish second in the same race. That was the first run in nursery company for Docks and the uphill finish here should suit.
Selection: Docks
15:15 6f (5f180y) Book Your Discounted Tickets On NavanRacecourse.ie Handicap (3yo+ 0-60)
Gerard Keane has his team in good form and a recent winner for the Trim, Co.Meath trainer was VERIFIED who reappears eight days later with Gary Carroll in the saddle once again. He won off 52 and it was a cosy victory in the end but has since been raised seven pounds by the handicapper. His second to Nouvel Espoir at Down Royal in June time received a boost when Nouvel Espoir won nicely at the Curragh on Sunday. He looks nicely drawn in stall four and with luck in running he should be involved in the finish.

15:45 1m (1m40y) Navan Racecourse Welcomes Our Local Community Maiden (2yo)
A very interesting maiden and the Moyglare Stud Farm colours will be represented by SOLDAT who ran fourth on debut at Naas learning on the job all the way to the winning line. He will need to step forward again but the uphill finish at Navan could play to his strengths. He is related to three winners in Tamrat, Yamal and Hardy Warrior suggesting that he might be the type to improve over time, but he looks a contender here up in trip.
Selection: Soldat
16:15 1m (1m40y) Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap (3yo+)
The Johnny Murtagh team got four winners in the month of September and will be hoping that October can continue in a similar vein. DIVINE LEGEND will enter handicap company for the first time following a maiden victory at Fairyhouse last time out. She had been a little unlucky on two runs prior to that where she was second but the run at Navan on September 5th suggests that the finish here will be in her favour. When she won last time out the comments post-race were interesting “She’s a fine big filly, by Blue Point, and I think there is still a bit to come”.
Selection: Divine Legend
16:48 1m2f (1m2f30y) Racing Again 21st October Handicap (Div I) (3yo+ 0-60)
A competitive end to the card with divisions one and two of the mile and a quarter handicap. Chris Timmons and Gary Carroll team up with SHEAMUS SEIMHIU who was unlucky not to get up last time at this venue when rattling home late and beaten a nose. The handicapper has nudged him up two pounds in the weights and with the step up in trip sure to suit then a big run can be expected here. The form has taken a couple of boosts since as the fifth has finished second since and the sixth finished fourth since.
Selection: Sheamus Seimhiu
17:18 1m2f (1m2f30y) Racing Again 21st October Handicap (Div II) (3yo+ 0-60)
The second division is as competitive as the first and a chance is taken with PROM QUEEN for the Anthony McCann stable. This grey daughter of Ribchester was a winner at Gowran Park back in April time when she made all the running over 1m 5f and then disappointed at Roscommon when she got pestered for the lead last time. This trip may not play to her advantage but with stamina in abundance she could be staying on strongly in the closing stages. The yard and colours were in the winners enclosure at the Curragh on Sunday when Whimsy won in the hands of Aine Connolly.
Selection: Prom Queen
