13:40 7f Golf At Gowran Park Nursery Handicap (2yo 0-60)
Johnny Murtagh has his team in good form, and LITTLEPACER will look to build on Dundalk’s fifth-place finish last time out. The run before that, when third to Hi Corbett Court, looks standout, as the winner went and finished second in the Goffs Million at the Curragh. This filly is drawn in stall one, and Ben will look to adopt a handy position and come home with a late run. You would expect her to go close with luck in running.
Selection: Littlepacer
14:10 7f Dine At Gowran Park Handicap (3yo)
The booking of Colin Keane aboard CAISLEAN NI CUAN for trainer Thomas Mullins catches the eye. This filly has shown form in her last two runs, when fourth to Valentino Eclipse in a maiden at the Curragh and then followed that with a solid third to Therewillbeglory at Naas last time out. Now that she has shown form, she will dip her toe back into handicap company and could be competitive off a mark of 57.
Selection: Caislean Ni Cuan
14:40 1m½f (1m75y) Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (2yo)
A chance is taken with PARAGUAY, who ran a race full of promise at the Curragh on debut. Jack Cleary, who took the mount last time, will stay on board here, and even though he was beaten seven lengths, he was tenderly handled inside the final furlong. He will need to step up on that to be competitive, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see an improvement from his debut.
Selection: Paraguay

15:10 1m½f (1m75y) Irish EBF Median Sires Series Fillies Maiden (Smullen Series) (2yo)
Gavin Cromwell’s team have hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks, and GOLDEN GIFT will look to step up on a fourth-place finish behind Pirate Anne Bonny fifteen days ago. She was 40/1 on debut, and while there was a chance she would improve off the run, she was beaten 8 ¾ lengths, but it showed that there is ability there. The market will likely tell us plenty, but the team couldn’t be in any better form.
Selection: Golden Gift
15:40 1m½f (1m75y) Racing Club Membership Handicap (Div I) (3yo+ 0-60)
John Feane and Shay Wallace team up with STRIKEPOINT in the first division of the extended mile handicap. This gelding has been big prices on all four starts and will need to improve considerably. The most interesting thing in relation to this horse is that he has been a non-runner three times since the 9th of September, suggesting that he is ready to go. He was an overnight mover in the market ahead of a run at the Curragh on Thursday last but didn’t get a run as a reserve. The market will be very interesting ahead of his run here.
Selection: Strikepoint

16:10 1m½f (1m75y) Racing Club Membership Handicap (Div II) (3yo+ 0-60)
A recent winner for us on the blog ZARENAKARENA will make a quick reappearance for the Eddie & Patrick Harty team with Nathan Crosse in the saddle. She looked like she was going to come under pressure and get swallowed up two furlongs down at Roscommon last week but found for pressure and won going away. That was her handicap debut, and if she can improve off the back of that, she could go close again. The handicapper has had a say and pushed her from a mark of 48 to 57. She will go close with luck in running once again.
Selection: Zarenakarena
16:40 1m1½f (1m1f100y) Gowran Park Racing Club Fillies Maiden (3yo+)
Joseph O’Brien and Dylan Browne McMonagle team up with SANGREAL, who is owned by Spanish footballer Alvaro Odriozola. This filly ran a nice race on debut at Leopardstown behind Eretria back in April and has been beaten twice as favourite since. She will have to improve to get involved, but that is not impossible with Dylan back aboard. She has been third at this venue and is drawn nicely in stall five.
Selection: Sangreal
17:10 1m4f Racing Again November 7th Handicap (3yo+)
The final race on the card looks a competitive affair, and the booking of Billy Lee aboard SERIENMOND looks interesting. This runner hasn’t been seen on the level for 842 days but has been in consistent form over obstacles of late. A pair of thirds at Bellewstown and Listowel show the form that he has been in, and if Billy can find the key to him on the flat then he could be involved.
Selection: Serienmond
