Quarter-Final Match Betting and Predictions:

Thursday Feb 29th

(Prices correct as of 3pm on Feb 26th)

(7:15pm) 11/10 Luke Humphries v Michael van Gerwen 7/10 (PredictionMichael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries lost out to Rob Cross in a quarter-final match that went to a final leg decider in Newcastle last week, but it was probably his best performance of the competition to date, despite the loss. MVG stormed to a third consecutive overall nightly win in Newcastle, with victories over Price, Littler and Aspinall to move eight points clear at the top of the table. It’s hard to see anything other than a win for MVG in this game.) Correct Score Prediction – 4-6

(8pm) 13/20 Nathan Aspinall v Peter Wright 6/5 (PredictionPeter Wright, Nathan Aspinall had his best week of the league so far in Newcastle last week, losing the final 4-6 to a very much in-form MVG. Peter Wright also had his best week despite suffering a narrow 5-6 defeat to Luke Littler in his opening quarter-final match. This should be a closely fought affair, with narrow preference for a Peter Wright victory.) Correct Score Prediction – 5-6

(8:45pm) 6/10 Gerwyn Price v Rob Cross 5/4 (PredictionGerwyn Price, Gezzy Price fell victim to eventual winner MVG in last week’s quarter-finals, whereas Rob Cross had a win over World Champion and World No.1 Luke Humphries before losing 4-6 to runner-up Nathan Aspinall in the semi-finals. Both players come into this in reasonable form, but I expect a win for Gerwyn Price in this match.) Correct Score Prediction – 6-3

(9:30pm) 1/2 Luke Littler v Michael Smith 8/5 (PredictionMichael Smith, Luke Littler was a narrow 6-5 winner over a much improved Peter Wright in last week’s quarter-finals in Newcastle, before again losing to Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals. Michael Smith came out on the wrong side of a last leg decider against eventual runner-up Nathan Aspinall in his opening quarter-final. This should be close and I’m just favouring Michael Smith for a narrow victory.) Correct Score Prediction – 5-6

Outright Betting:

Michael van Gerwen 11/5 – Luke Littler 3/1 – Luke Humphries 33/10 – Gerwyn Price 13/2 – Michael Smith 9/1 – Rob Cross 12/1 – Nathan Aspinall 20/1 Peter Wright 33/1
