Winner Takes Itall bids to land Bar One Bonus !
Winner Takes Itall will scoop the €25,000 Bar One Racing Bonus if he wins Thursday’s Galway Hurdle.
Bar One Racing boss Barney O’Hare offered the bonus prior to the launch of the Bar One Racing sponsored raceday at the Bellewstown Summer Festival earlier this month.
O’Hare and Bellewstown Racecourse committee member Alan Delaney are both keen to develop the featured handicap hurdle at Bellewstown as a Galway Hurdle trial.
After landing the Bar One Racing Bellewstown Hurdle earlier this month, Joseph O’Brien’s charge now appears primed to play a leading part in Thursday’s valuable handicap hurdle. Victory in that race secured his place in Thursday’s feature, and he’s the market leader to provide owner JP McManus with a third win in the race.
Winner Takes Itall produced a career-best performance at Bellewstown to book his place at Galway. His official rating has risen to 132, meaning he will carry a bottom weight of 10-1 minus talented conditional Simon Torrens’ 3lb allowance.
Barney O’Hare Chief Executive of Bar One Racing said:
“Everyone at Bar One Racing would like to wish connections of Winner Takes Itall the very best in Thursday’s race. He looks a horse who’s improving and has the profile to land a race of this type. It’s sure to be fiercely competitive and I expect huge turnover on the race.”
