BMW PGA Championship Tips
Patrick Reed at 20/1 (6 Places)
Patrick Reed extended his lead at the top of the Race To Dubai standings with a second-place finish behind Shane Lowry in the Irish Open, and similar form will make him one of the major players this week.
The one notable thing to take from Doonbeg for Reed was four rounds in the 60s, and returning to Wentworth will suit him down to the ground.
His record in this event from four attempts is very solid; he has finished T3 (2025), T5 (2022), T3 (2020) and T4 (2019).
Across 15 rounds over the West course, Reed is 59 under with a scoring average of just a fraction over 68.
The 2018 Masters champion is at the top of his game at the moment and will be hoping to be involved once again this week.
Tom McKibbin at 33/1 (6 Places)
The Northern Irishman has finished in the top 10 at three of his last four tournaments, including T5 at the Irish Open and T6 at the British Masters.
He was 11th at Wentworth last year.
He arrives here in similar form to Patrick Reed, and the form he showed at Doonbeg last week was quite eye-catching.
Four consistent rounds of 68-67-68-67 left him alongside Lowry and Reed in the top five to go four rounds sub-70.
He has played this event in the last three years and was T11 (2025), T10 (2024), and T51 (2023).
His stroke average for 2026 is 70.53, and four sub-70s this week will surely have him in contention once again.
