A native of Dundalk, Co. Louth, Gray has enjoyed a highly successful career on the British flat racing circuit, riding over 450 winners and establishing himself as one of the most dependable jockeys in the weighing room.
Having started his career under legendary Irish trainer Tommy Stack, Gray later moved to the UK, where he forged a long-standing and successful partnership with Kevin Ryan on the northern racing scene.
A 10-time Listed race winner, Gray has ridden in the famous silks of major global racing operations, including Godolphin, and has landed prestigious contests such as the Rockingham Stakes at York.
Gray continues to shine on the big stage and was back in the spotlight last weekend when steering Dickensian to victory in the Listed Westow Stakes at York live on ITV.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Shane Gray said he was proud to have the backing of a company from his hometown.
