NBA (Basketball)

In the NBA Finals 2026, the NY Knicks beat San Antonio Spurs 4-1

The new season is “expected to begin” in October and end in April 2027.

The fourth edition of the in-season NBA Cup tournament will run from Oct 30 to Dec 11

NFL (American Football)

SB 60 was won by the Seattle Seahawks, who beat the New England Patriots.

Pre-season begins on August 6th (with one game, Cardinals v Panthers), then more-regular pre-season games will run from August 13.

The regular seasons runs from 9 Sept 2026 to 16 Jan 2027.

NHL (Ice Hockey)

In this year’s Stanley Cup, the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 in the best-of-seven series. It was Carolina’s second Stanley Cup win, and their first since 2006.

Pre-season for the 2026-27 season will begin on September 19th. The season will start on September 29th. The regular season will conclude on Sat 10 April.

Some games will take place in Finland and Germany in November and December.
