The Irish Greyhound Laurels was officially launched this afternoon at Curraheen Park, reaffirming its status as one of the most prestigious competitions in the Irish greyhound racing calendar.

Now entering the third year of an innovative four-year partnership, the event brings together two pillars of support for the sport: Bar One Racing, led by CEO Barney O’Hare, and The Friends & Supporters of Cork Greyhound Racing, chaired by the iconic Jimmy Barry Murphy.

With a winner’s prize of €30,000 and an overall fund exceeding €60,000, the Laurels continues to attract the very best in the game. It remains not only a highlight of the season but also a celebration of the passion and tradition that drive greyhound racing in Ireland.
