Chelsea v Tottenham, Premier League

Sun Nov 29, KO 4:30pm

Preview by Will Reilly

Another fascinating encounter, first versus third in the table going into the weekend’s action with just two points between the sides.

There is also the added ingredient of Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard facing his former boss, José Mourinho, under whom he achieved great success. As coaches, though, their relationship has become spikey. markets for Chelsea v Tottenham can be found via this link

Chelsea v Tottenham is among our latest round of DOUBLE THE ODDS on FIRST GOALSCORER BETS  – I.e. If you have a first goal-scorer bet on the match and your player scores first and scores again in the match, we will DOUBLE THE ODDS on your first goal-scorer bet placed on that match (usual t&c)…

Christian Pulisic has been recovering from a hamstring injury but is closing in on full fitness. Kai Havertz is fit again, having come on as a sub midweek in the Champions League. Billy Gilmour is fit again but will remain with the Under-21/Under-23 sides for now. It remains to be seen whether Thiago Silva will start against Spurs. He played midweek in the Champions League and Frank Lampard is keen to manage the 36-year-old’s game time. However, it would seem unusual if he didn’t play in such an important game.

Toby Alderweireld missed Tottenham’s Europa League match on Thursday with a muscle injury and reports indicate that he will miss this match. Matt Doherty missed the Man City game last week having tested positive for Covid-19 but was in the midweek Europa League squad. Eric Lamela missed the midweek Europa League match owing to a foot injury, but Japhet Tanganga, Harry Winks and Gareth Bale all played so are available for selection on Sunday.

Based on the stats:

Given Chelsea’s very good record in the fixture, their price of 11/10 looks good value

Over 2.5 goals in the game at 8/11 also has to be considered – see the PRICE BOOST below

It could be argued that Chelsea, Draw No Bet at 1/2 offers some value – if you trust the stats

Chelsea to Win AND Over 2.5 goals in the game is on offer at 19/10, which may make some appeal

This week, the Price Boost on a previewed match is Over 2.5 goals in the game

This was 8/11 and has been PRICE BOOSTED to EVENS
