Racing Preview: Midweek Dante Action Followed by Newbury, Newmarket, Navan, and Naas

Laurens could be the centre of attention at Newmarket this weekend

Will Reilly looks forward to this week’s racing – Navan and Naas headline in Ireland while the Dante meeting at York will be the focus in the UK

It is another big week for racing, which includes the Dante meeting at York (Wednesday to Friday) and the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on Saturday. Newmarket will also stage a valuable card on on Saturday.

In Ireland, the action includes the Killarney National (Mon), the Listed Saval Beg Levmoss Stakes at Leopardstown (Fri), the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Yeats Stakes at Navan (Sat) and a Sunday card at Naas that carries €340,500 in prize-money and contains two Group 3 races and two Listed contests.
