Racing Preview: Chester Midweek High In Superb Week

In Britain, the ever-popular  Boodles May Festival at Chester runs from Weds May 8th to Fri May 10th. On Saturday May 11th the Lingfield Derby Trial meeting takes place as does the valuable Victoria Cup at Ascot and the mixed Swinton Hurdle day card at Haydock.

In Ireland, Leopardstown stages its Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial and 1,000 Guineas Trial meeting on Sunday. On May 6th, The Curragh stages a valuable bank holiday card and the Blue Wind Stakes is on the card at Naas on Saturday. Gowran Park stages the valuable Vintage Tipple Stakes on Wednesday.

The French 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas are coming up on Sunday at ParisLongchamp.

The Killarney Racing Festival May meeting runs from Sunday May 12th to Tues May 14th.
