Aintree Grand National The Week’s Sporting Highlight

Aintree racecourse is primed for one of the year's sporting highlights, the Randox Health Grand National

Will Reilly looks forward to this week’s racing, which features the £1million Aintree Grand National

This week’s racing is dominated by the Grand National meeting at Aintree in Liverpool, which runs from Thursday to Saturday (although its is Classic Trials day at Leopardstown on Saturday).

The big race, the Randox Health Grand National Handicap ‘Chase, which now carries prize-money of £1million, is due off at 5:30pm on Saturday. It is one of the highlights of the sporting year. Its international audience is now estimated to be in excess of 600 million.
