Weekend Racing Well Worth Wait

It’s a recurring theme but this week sees more quality racing taking place in Ireland and Britain.

On Saturday, Newbury stages its valuable Betfair Hurdle card, while Warwick plays host to its ‘Kingmaker’ meeting.

Thursday’s card at Huntingdon includes the Sydney Banks Memorial Novices’ Hurdle, while Wolverhampton’s Saturday night card contains a £45,000 handicap and Exeter’s Sunday meeting carries good prize money.

In Ireland, Naas holds its Opera Hat Mares’ Chase meeting on Saturday and Punchestown’s card on Sunday includes a €32,500 Listed novices’ hurdle and the €100,000 Grand National Trial.
