It’s becoming a recurring theme but another big week of racing lies ahead, including seven-time Grade One winner Altior’s intended appearance at Ascot on Saturday in the Grade One Clarence House Chase, the valuable Champion Hurdle Trial and Peter Marsh Chase meeting Haydock (Sat), a £50,000 chase on Taunton’s Saturday card and two Grade Two races on the Thurles card on Sunday.
