The November Handicap at Doncaster on Saturday signals the traditional end to the turf season in Britain, but some key jumping meetings in Britain and Ireland show that the National Hunt season is getting into swing.

Wednesday November 7th

Dundalk (first race, 6:30pm; 6pm if a race divides) – It is Dundalk Institute Of Technology Students Union Night at the track. Dundalk will also race on Friday night – see below.

Thursday November 8th

Thurles (12:45pm) – The card includes two €16,000 races – a 2m2f handicap hurdle (1:20pm) and a 2m4f mares’ handicap hurdle (2:30pm).

Friday November 9th

Dundalk (6pm; earlier if a race divides)

  • The feature race is a €25,000 mile handicap (8pm)

Saturday November 10th

Naas (midday) – The main races are:

  • €32,500 Grade 3 Fishery Lane Hurdle (12:30pm, 2 miles)
  • €50,000 Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle (Grade B, 1:40pm, 2m4f)
  • €32,500 Grade 3 Poplar Square ‘Chase (2:15pm, 2 miles)

Sunday November 11th

Navan (12:35pm) – The main races are:
