Kansas City Chiefs against the New England Patriots will be the most watched match and also the one with the biggest betting purse this weekend.
The KC Chiefs have not only an undefeated record in the standings – they are a perfect 5-0 against the spread (ATS) – making you a winner every single week you placed a wager on them.
Since coach Andy Reid has been the man in charge, his KC squad has soundly beaten the NE Patriots in both meetings.
Consider that KC is the first undefeated team this late in the season to be the underdog since 2013 and it seems the oddsmakers are handing out candy. Before you stuff your pockets, consider a few more points.
Patriots coach Belichick has a full arsenal of offensive weapons at his disposal this week while Kansas City has two key defenders injured. NE always does well at home – 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9.
The NE defense is steadily improving and is designed around taking at least one key player from making big plays – probably focusing on WR Hill or TE Kelce.
The KC defense has looked vulnerable at various points this season before their recent injuries.
I give a small lean to NE – but am putting my money on the Over total of 59.5 as I expect a high-scoring match.
